Welcome to Smith Creek Retreat

We are located in the Boxley Valley Historic District, about a quarter mile from Buffalo National River at the old home place along Smith Creek, by the Boxley trail head of the Buffalo River Trail.  This cabin is located off HWY 21 behind a private gate, surrounded by fields, woods, and wildlife.

Come stay awhile and see some of the elk, turkey, and deer in the adjacent fields and all throughout the Boxley Valley Historic District.

Enjoy These Photos of our Property

These pictures do not show the full beauty of this place. Old beech trees with huge roots, old creek beds with bolders, huge open fields , near on a National preserve. All behind a private gate. – Gina

My husband and I stayed here last weekend and had a great time. Will be returning next year. Saw lots of wildlife! – Philis

This is my Grandparents old farm and brings back alot of memories. Doy and Alma Edgmon built this house and lived there until my grandfather died and then the government forced them out. It is a very majestic piece of property that I wish everyone could visit. The original farm house was to the west just across the the road – Jerry
